In the ongoing project entitled eBay Morandi I have taken properties generally associated in historical still life painting and applied them to found images downloaded from the popular auction website eBay. Pictured are two images of different objects, selected here for their similarity in shape and arrangement. The project is entitled eBay Morandi to draw connection between the new still life images and the work of the painter Morandi.

Often, the object photographed has served its purpose and is subsequently sold on, drawing reference to the nature of my own work in relation to the previously mentioned Morandi, and still-life painting in general. Similar objects are selected to heighten the notion of repetition, lending to the subtle differences in each photograph.
